Website

tell your brand story 24 hours a day

My ethos for website design is building a website that is beautiful and functional. Having a website that looks good is great. What’s even better is a website that looks good, is easy to use for you and your customers and gives your customers all the information they need in one place.

The functionality should cover lots of areas, both what your customers see, but also the way you use it. It should be easy for you to upload content, keep it updated and looking fresh.

Something that is coming up more and more each year, is if your website is mobile ready. It’s so important that you customers can find you across all platforms and have the same great experience with your brand across all of them. It’s also important for Google, as they rate your website on whether it’s a responsive or not. If your website is built well. Google knows the customers will have a better experience and put you higher in search results.

  • Credibility

Having a website shows customers you are credible and showing that you’ve invested in your business means your serious about what you do.

  • 24 hours a day

Having a website means that your business information is available 24 hours a day, so your customers can browse when it’s convenient for them

  • Memorable

A website address is easier to remember than a phone number, so even if you don’t have anything printed to hand, they’re more likely to remember you

  • Online marketing costs less

Driving people to your website costs less than traditional marketing and can be done on a much larger scale

FAQs

What if I have more than 15 pages?

That’s absolutely fine. £750 is the base price for the website and extra pages are £25 each. Included in your 15 pages will also be templates for any items you might need lots of, like blogs, so don’t worry about paying for each of them.

What are the monthly costs?

What I provide is a really affordable solution. The monthly running cost for a website starts off around £3.59 a month. That’s it. £3.59. No extra charges for emails or 24/7 support from the hosting company, that’s all included for you.

Can I manage my own content?

Yes! A key part of what I do is provide you with a website that you can manage yourself so that your business can really grow. All the websites I produce are built on WordPress, one of the best content management systems out there.

If you are looking for on-going support I can help with that too. We can talk through your requirements and come up with a plan that suits your business.

Do you take payment in instalments?

Yes I do. Payment is taken in three stages. 10% is required when you book me for your project. 40% is taken on completion of the site map and final 50% is taken after the final phase of the build.

How long does it take?

From initial conversations to completion is around 6 weeks. This includes only 5 days response time from you. If this over runs, it may delay completion. The timeline and dates will be outlined in our agreement so we can arrange these for when you’re available.

FAQs

What if I have lots of product types?

You can have as many product types as you like. We can talk through your full e-commerce needs before we start to make sure everything is covered and created.

Who is the payment provider?

The standard payment provider set-up is Paypal, however if you have another payment provider such as Stripe or Sage Pay, these can be integrated.

What system do you use?

I use WooCommerce running on a WordPress CMS. There are quite a few reasons for this, but the main one is ease of use and the flexibility to create whatever you need, which isn’t always possible on other systems, without a high cost.

How do I add products?

A product page template will be created for you, so it’s easy to use and manage. I will also give you guides and training on how to upload your products.
