Andreas came to me as he felt his current wedding cake branding wasn’t representing his personality and luxury of his company. He had trained for years as a chocolatier and wanted something that was as luxurious and decadent as his wedding cakes.
With wedding cake branding, it can be challenging to stand out from the crowd, however, with the rich teals and browns that represent his chocolate, it came together. I also went to visit his workshop and saw all the marble he used, in his work and decided to add this to his branding.
A large part of the process of me creating a brand is to represent the personality of the brand which often comes from the person behind the brand. Andreas’ chocolatier talent and taste in interior design, really helped me bring his brand to life.
I always start the wedding cake branding process with several mood boards from which we choose a final look and feel for your brand. With Cake Indulgence he instantly fell in love with the rich tones on the teals and browns together. The teals represent the luxury and style of the brand, whilst the browns look beautiful with the photography of his cakes.
I developed an art deco brand that took elements of design from the 1920’s but modernised it with features of today’s looks. From this, it meant we could create rich backgrounds, a beautiful logo and a set of feathers that can be used in all his branding.
All of these combined elements help this wedding cake brand stand out from the rest of the market. Andreas also asked me to create Cake Indulgence’s new website design.
